The majority of attack is created by bacteria activity that results in hydrogen sulphide evolution which in moist damp conditions converts to sulphuric acid on the concrete surfaces which is then attacked and dissolved away .

After removal of the unsound concrete seal cracks with Contite PUE300/301 structural polyurethane
Coat exposed rebar with Congard ST
In areas where no biochemical attack bring back to profile with Conpatch 600 HS high strength >70N/MM2 high build polymer modified repair mortar containing a migrating corrosion inhibitor . Areas subject to bio chemical attack apply Conpatch Sewergard by hand or spray
Coat all areas with a migrating corrosion inhibitor Conpatch NCI
Coat the whole area with CONTITE CFM flexible polymer permanent waterproofing with crack bridging and sealing properties at 2mm thickness and areas subjected to bio chemical attack with Floorgard Moisture Barrier in two coats 400 micon DFT over Conpatch Sewergard repair mortar
